To achieve building airtightness according to passive house standards (0,6<n50):

Apply BBA approved Blowerproof coating on the following building connections of the outer skin of your building or house. Always apply Blowerproof on the inside before floor (insulation, screed, tiling) and wall finishes are done.

Walls

Airtight layer and vapour controll on walls, before anchored insulation is installed.

Floor to wall junction

Paint-on or spray apply BBA approved BLOWERPROOF coating for the permanent airtightness of the floor to wall junctions.

Wall to ceiling junction

Paint-on or spray apply BBA approved BLOWERPROOF coating for the permanent airtightness of the wall to ceiling junctions.

Window jambs

Paint-on BBA approved BLOWERPROOF coating for the permanent airtightness of window jambs. Depeding specification, BLOWERPROOF LIQUID BRUSH is applied or on the interior side or on the exterior side.

Pipe penetrations gaps

Penetration gaps must be made airtight in order to obtain an airtight house or building. Sealing is simple with BBA approved Blowerproof coating.
